Natural and reclaimed
Your choice of building materials can help bring character and uniqueness to your project. There are many different forms of vernacular in our working area, from the limestone walling of the High Peak to the soft Bulwell stones used in and around Nottingham. We enjoy sourcing reclaimed and traditional materials where this is required or appropriate; and in all contexts using materials with enduring quality such as granite, oak, and lead detailing.

Bespoke design
All of our gardens are very different, from the small and intimate to the large and dramatic. Sometimes a complete scheme can be designed and realised as one project. More often, we will be looking at one part or aspect of your garden or perhaps working towards a larger scheme in a number of linked smaller projects, which take place over a number of years. Some of our latest work
Following the renovation and updating of this house, we were approached to design a contemporary garden wrapping around the back and side which connected the house and garden in style and materials, and enabled the new wide glass doors to open onto entertaining spaces.
Our clients wanted off road parking for their Edwardian property which had only a ramped path up the four metre incline to the front door which was hidden from view. An existing two metre stone retaining wall separated the sloping front garden from the pavement in this conservation area setting.
To revitalise a neglected garden space constrained by a preservation order on an oak tree, we employed stone gabion baskets and Breedon gravel paving, effectively transforming the area into a functional and attractive outdoor setting.
