What We Did

Project Overview

Our clients wanted off road parking for their Edwardian property which had only a ramped path up the four metre incline to the front door which was hidden from view. An existing two metre stone retaining wall separated the sloping front garden from the pavement in this conservation area setting.

We designed a new set of stone retaining structures with decorative arches utilising the existing stone on site to achieve car parking for two cars, a new ramped path with landings, and level garden areas.

A new garden store was also built of renovation bricks with a slate roof to match the house with a long arched window to the road facing end. Lots of built in lighting, estate fencing handrails and a planting scheme has made it all work well and feel like it belongs here.
