We are surrounded by bricks in our built environment. They have been used for centuries as a building material and come in many sizes, colours and textures. Brick matching is important in many of our projects—finding the right brick, or a lovely brick that we can use. Often we use reclaimed bricks including some of the many Victorian ‘specials’, which add touches of decoration where appropriate. Bricks in the garden also have to be of an engineering quality so that they stand the test of time.
