Excellent design great staff both in the office and workers on site

I am delighted with my newly designed garden by BottleKiln. From the outset I was confident in my choice of selecting Bottle Kiln Design their hard work, dedication and professionalism is reflected in the beautifully finished product.
The attention to detail throughout by everyone involved has been amazing ,from the paper design and planning to maintaining the garden ongoing.

Happy to recommend Bottle Kiln Design – they did a superb job in ‘trying circumstances’. Trying circumstances beyond a pandemic that is! The tired old 60s ‘conservatory’ revealed its true situation and BKD went from project renovation to project invention. The outcome is a breathtaking contemporary house addition that makes us smile. They were detailed in budget, inclusive in every step and transparent in working arrangements. My point was always that when the unknown occurs, you do need an unflappable company in charge. We were absolutely delighted with the work carried out on our garden by Bottle Kiln Design. Bottle Kiln Design are very creative and talented with a real flair for design. The team are professional, very friendly and easy to do business with. We would highly recommend them.

Our property is Grade 2 listed and is in a conservation area. We have a steep garden at the back of the house which was terraced many years ago. A set of 22 stone steps leads to the upper part of the garden. These steps are made of large pieces of rough local stone. They are on a curve and each step is a different height and width.

We wanted a set of railings that would match with the original Victorian ones at the front of the house and provide a level of safety. We had several people look at the project. Most didn’t even get back to us as it was so daunting. Bottle Kiln Design drew up plans and we discussed small amendments. We felt fully involved and informed throughout the process. Bottle Kiln Design did a great job. The railings are completely in keeping with the property and the scale is perfect. The men also kept the area clean and tidy throughout.

Bottle Kiln Design were fantastic from start to finish! They drew up plans for a redesign of part of our garden – replacing old decking with a new deck and pergola, pruning existing overgrown bushes, reshaping the lawn and planting new borders. Once work began, it was carried out in an extremely professional way by all involved – I also felt that the whole team really cared about the work they were doing. The pergola and decking were built on-site and we love the craftsmanship involved. Once Bottle Kiln Design began the pruning and planting, it was very apparent that they had amazing knowledge about what plants work well together and in different areas of the garden. The work was completed in very good time and with great attention to detail. Once the garden was finished, they came back and talked me through all the plant names and care required and even offered to come back next year to help with pruning and advice (I will be taking you up on this). I kept looking out of our kitchen window and saying “Love it, love it, love it!” We were lucky to get the work done quite early in the summer, so really enjoyed the garden and it still looks great. I would 100% recommend Bottle Kiln Design.

Our Edwardian vegetable garden and rockery were restored and redesigned with sensitivity and skill byBottle Kiln Design. The York stone paths and the rockery were restored and recycled into the new design which kept the integrity of the original while repositioning the raised beds and creating a beautiful vista from the house. Existing plants carefully replaced and the expert wall and crazy paving team were meticulous in their attention to quality and detail.

Hettys Teashop wanted an outside eating and drinking area for customers with character and charm to blend in with the grade ll listed building. Bottle Kiln Design engaged from start to finish with professionalism and took all the pressure from me with the whole design, planning and all the meetings involved. They have an eye for that extra touch and I can highly recommend Bottle Kiln Design for any project you are considering.

I’ve used Bottle Kiln Design for 3 projects now on 2 separate properties over a 4 year period. Not many companies offer the whole package to include the design element and then be able to deliver the design in practice. As I said we’ve used them on 3 project and that speaks volumes. The clever part for me is the design element with ideas that I hadn’t even thought about. First class company. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Brilliant work, garage has been admired by neighbours and passers by. Got planning permission so quick and they worked through some of this winter’s worst weather. They totally impressed our next door neighbour, who’s drive they stored some of their gear on. She even asked them if they would do her a garage next. The architecture fits in beautifully with the 1920s art deco street. Only problems were not Bottle Kiln but people they brought in to do the rendering, they made an awful mess, which was a shock after the care Bottle Kiln had taken every day to clear up after themselves.
Couple of tiles have slipped off the roof but easily fixed.

Friendly team, very knowledgeable about plants and great suggestions as we didnt have a fixed idea in terms of planting/design. Easily contactable during the process. We are very happy with our new garden and have got lots of compliments about it.

Bottle Kiln design have carried out two projects for me. The first was the transformation of my garden, the second creating a beautiful studio from an old derelict building.
