We highly recommend Dominic and his team; from the first phone call until the garden was finished, we were expertly guided and advised in a non-pressured way and as a result have a garden that is so much better than we imagined. All the team were reliable, efficient and skilled and despite challenges with the site and the weather remained good humoured through the whole project.

Bottle Kiln Design did an amazing job of turning an overgrown, poorly landscaped and unusable part of the garden in our new home, in to usable, nature friendly, feast for the eyes and senses appreciated by ourselves and our neighbours.

Bottle Kiln Design’s knowledge and attention to detail is beyond question. The quality of the work done by the team is to the highest standard, deadlines were met as were budgets. We actually increased our budget and added additional landscaping we were so pleased with the initial work. The site was kept clean and tidy at all times.

In the longterm development of our garden, we intend to continue to use Bottle Kiln Design.

We engaged Bottle Kiln to re-landscape our garden in summer 2019. We are very pleased with the finished job and with how the project was managed all the way through from the initial design to completion. It did take a little bit longer to complete than initial expectations, but our patience was rewarded with a great end result. Works done included splitting the garden onto two levels, laying tiles, wall, turf and planting.

In this hurly burly world is is quite extraordinary to find a person, a team, and a synthesis of cooperation, kindness, willingness, and sheer hard graft. It was an absolute delight to discover Bottle Kiln Design who could not have been better. Everything was first class, from the initial appointment withBottle Kiln Design, softly spoken, keenly attentive to your requirements, prompt and professional in delivering a plan, and hugely efficient in delivering the plan. The lads never complained in spite of the weather and the trials of the job, were always courteous and smiling, and simply just got on with it with a glad heart. I couldn’t speak too highly of this squad – they are just the best. If you are thinking about it – just do it – you wont regret it. I would give them countless more than 5 stars.

Bottle Kiln Design did an excellent job with our blank canvas garden. From a thoughtful design taking into account our requirements to bring in nature and the efficient manner the work was carried out with minimal disruption. We were kept fully informed of everything that was taking place and there were no delays or unexpected surprises along the way. The team were all great guys who worked really hard and made sure everything was tidied and cleaned up before leaving each day. Once the work was complete there was no trace of all the activity except for our beautiful new garden. Very highly recommend Bottle Kiln Design.

Professional job from start to finish. I was impressed with the management of the site and the the project overall. Really pleased with the results. We had stone gateposts repaired and new gates hung. Additional works undertaken included digging out concrete from behind an old stone wall to allow for a new hedge to be planted, and an old rockery dug out and landscaped. We also had some repairs to an old brick wall. I would recommend Bottle Kiln Design and plan to use this company again.

In June 2019 I employed Bottle Kiln Design to create a new front path and help me with planting new borders. This was the second time they had worked for me. Bottle Kiln Design are a pleasure to work with. They are obviously a skilled, artistic landscape designer and gardener, but also listen to the client to incorporate their ideas and requests. They are willing to accompany clients to nurseries and stone masons and is careful to advise regarding costs. The team, who carried out the work are skilled, pleasant to have around and tidied up every day.

Loved Bottle Kiln Design’s approach to designing our garden landscaping. We’d had some ideas, and they took these and built on them. We never felt railroaded or rushed. We were really pleased to be able to recycle old York stone slabs in the scheme.

Over this winter, during a period of quite unprecedented weather, our garden has been completely transformed by the BKD team. From the initial drawings, costings and meetings through to completion, they calmly communicated and guided the project. Absolutely everyone took great pride in their skills, were meticulous in their attention to detail, worked hard & efficiently and, given the amount of rain, kept everywhere as tidy and clean as possible. Costings have been adhered to and when changes were made to the original plan these too were discussed, costed and agreed to before they took place. We would have no hesitation in recommending BKD, everyone has been a pleasure to work with and we are delighted with our ‘new’ garden.

I had my garden designed and completed by Bottle Kiln Designs. I am absolutely delighted with my new garden and highly recommend them.
