What We Did

Project Overview

This fully enclosed garden was completely remodelled. We designed and built an oak framed storage building attached to the end of the house to separate the front and back gardens and provide storage to replace old sheds.

Textured sandstone is used to make strong steps and wall cappings which tie the areas together, and the porcelain paving in the sunken area will be easy to keep clean and maintain. Garden lighting brings the scheme to life in the evening, and Scottish pebbles make the planted areas light and easy to look after.

The small and shady back garden was refreshed with new limestone paving and raised beds containing shade tolerant planting and low level lighting. The larger front garden was raised to bring hardwood decking to the level of the house, which leads to a sunken paved area and then on around the garden to connect with a circular gazebo that contains a fire pit.
