What We Did
Project Overview
This small garden is built on three levels behind a house which is constructed into a steeply sloping hillside with limited access.
The existing fencing and log walls were coming to the end of their lives, we re-fenced the perimeter with a simple close boarded fence, erected new concrete posts deeply into the ground to retain the slope with timber cladding, and used a dark composite decking for the steps, trims and upper terrace area with a simple glass balustrade and stainless steel handrail.
The remaining beds were covered with a simple gravel mulch and planted to add low maintenance colour. This simple makeover has transformed the space and given it a contemporary feel. Garden lighting adds interest at night.
