What We Did
Project Overview
This courtyard garden was created by lowering the levels to form the impression of raised beds around the perimeter and then cladding the boundaries with a white monocouche render or grey colour matched lattice screen.
For the outdoor fireplace we used large Italian porcelain tiles in contrasting colours for the paving, steps and walls, and tier walling for the feature fireplace.
As this is designed mainly as an evening entertaining space, we incorporated different levels of lighting including an LED strip under the steps and wall cappings.
The Pergola covered outdoor dining area gives some weather protection and the planting is continental in style with a mulch of Scottish pebbles to keep maintenance to a minimum.
