What We Did

Project Overview

This garden building was designed and built for a sloping back garden behind a Derbyshire stone cottage with limited space inside.

This oak framed structure contains a workshop space, sewing room, garden store and railway layout, as well as a garden room and veranda with lovely views over the hills. This was deliberately designed to blend in with this rural setting using timber cladding, which will turn silver with age, and reclaimed roof tiles to match the house.

A garden path was laid to connect this new building with the house and a sunken terrace was added.
