This house had a covered area supported by a stone pillar at the front of the house with a dark entrance hall set behind it and wasted garden space adjacent with complex levels. We installed large flat roof lights into the covered area and entrance hall bringing in lots of light and enclosed the covered area to form a garden room entrance lobby. We replaced the old garage roof with a new membrane, fitted aluminium soffits and fascias and rendered the single storey sections of the house with a modern silicone render. A new sunken garden area with a water feature as a focal point was then built adjacent to the porch including an oak pergola linked through to the oak frames installed into the house. Low level eyelid lights enable this area to be gently lit at night. Planting by our customer – it’s wonderful!
