Conservatory Reduction

This bungalow had a lean-to conservatory running across most of the back of the house with a dirty polycarbonate roof. It dominated the space and took up too much of the garden space which our customer, a keen gardener, wished to retrieve. We reduced the conservatory to half its previous size reusing the windows and doors, and added an insulated tiled roof with roof lights to give sufficient light to the kitchen behind making the new garden room a warm and much more usable space. We then constructed a new garden layout with raised vegetable beds, paving and a large pond for the beautiful fish, who had spent a year in a holding tank since the house move waiting for a new home.
